The Fault in Our Stars!

Hey guys!

Today I have nail art from one of my favorite books.
The Fault in Our Stars, by John Green!

I love this book and all of his others, they are amazing!

Okay is a reference to the book that I'm too lazy to explain. The clouds are from the cover, and the infinity is from a quote in the book, "Some infinites are bigger than other infinities."
Colors: Sally Hansen "Blue Me Away," black and white acrylic paint.

Non-dominant hand, just the initials of the book.
Colors: Same as other hand.

Thumb!
And the other thumb.

I hope you guys enjoy these! I know I do! :)

Happy Fourth!

Hey guys! So, this is going up a day late, but Happy 4th of July to those who celebrate! My day was spent at the pool and then a great dinner with friends and family :) I did my friends nails, so I'll be showing you those!

I used a Sinful Colors blue, Ulta red, and white acrylic paint.

Those were my friend Noa's nails. Her birthday is actually on the 4th, so it doubled as a holiday AND birthday manicure!

I used the same colors as Noa's, plus a Sinful Colors white and some stripers.

These were my friend Emily's nails, which I LOVE!

Hope you guys enjoyed this and I hope you had a good 4th of July if you celebrate it!

Update

Hey everyone! I am SO sorry that I haven't posted in a long time! I promise I won't be a blogger who never posts. One reason for lack of posts is that I've been running out of inspiration. If anyone knows some good inspiration website or anything, please let me know!

Cuticle Care

Yay new post with pictures! Personally, I love hearing what cuticle products others use. Just me? Ok. Anyways, today I'll be showing you what I use to keep my cuticles in shape.

Lush Lemony Flutter- I LOVE this! I use it almost daily. The consistency is thick, but not too thick, and it smells pretty good. My cuticles immediately look better and are moisturized nicely. Lots of bloggers I've seen use this. It's a little pricey, but a little goes a VERY long way, trust me. If you do get this, you won't regret it!

Bath & Body Works lotion- I have a variety of lotions from here, this is just specifically the scent "First Bloom,"and it's what I've been using lately. I use these lotions just to moisturize my hands and to keep them looking neat. It does help my cuticles a lot. Bottles of lotion from BBW aren't too bad pricewise, most are about $8, I think. I love all the scents they come in!

True Blue Spa Hand Scrub- I use this about once or twice a week, whenever my hands and nails need extra care. This has a gritty texture to it that takes away tough spots and dead skin. It smells like pink grapefruit to me! I like using this occasionally, or whenever needed. This is available at BBW, as far as I know.

Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream- I use this daily. This is super portable, and smells nice. The formula isn't too creamy, but it's easy to apply. This is available at most drugstores, for I think about $5. I LOVE this for daily use! I keep it on my desk so I remember to use it.

CND Solar Oil- I use this daily also! I use this after swim practice in the shower, because my cuticles are BAD after that! I just rub it in. It smells like almonds, and is available at ULTA, as far as I know. A little pricey, but I think it's worth it.

Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover- I use this before almost every manicure. It's gentle, and easy to use. Leave on for about 15 seconds, then push cuticles back! This makes my nails look neater, and I like the formula. It's available at most drugstores, and is pretty cheap.

There you have it! All my cuticle/hand products. If you have any questions, comment below! I love hearing from you guys :) Thanks so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed!

Update

Hi everyone! I'm so sorry I haven't been posting! I have about 2 weeks left of school, so I've been preparing for final exams. Also, summer swim team started, which means....no natural nails for a little bit. That does mean, however, that I'll be posting on nail wheels and making a few tutorials! Stay tuned! Once again, I'm so sorry for not posting, but I will soon!

Pink & Yellow

Hello! Here is the post I was talking about earlier. My youth group (BBYO) chapter colors are pink and yellow, and our mascot is Hello Kitty. I wanted to do some festive nails, and here's what happened!

I used red, black, and white acrylic paint. For nail colors, I used China Glaze "Happy Go Lucky", a Sinful Colors pink, Essie "Blanc", and a glitter from the OPI Katy Perry collection, and I believe it was "Teenage Dream."

Sorry there aren't lots of pictures, I'm working on it! I hope you enjoyed!
(P.S.- This is my right hand. I'm left-handed, so you will rarely see my left hand!)
